No more “Love on the Rocks” for Neil Leslie Diamond – the legendary musician is a married man! The 71-year-old singer wed his manager, Katie McNeil, 42, in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, his rep confirmed to People.This is the third marriage for the “Sweet Caroline” crooner, and McNeil’s first trip down the aisle.
“Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you’re the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil,” the musician tweeted.

He married school sweetheart Jayne Posner in 1963. The pair had two daughters and divorced in 1969.After divorcing Posner in 1969, he married Marcia Murphey, a production assistant and had two sons, Jesse and Michah, before splitting in 1994.Diamond and Murphey divorced in 1995.Neil got burned financially in the last divorce but he’s an old romantic at heart and can’t wait to get married again.

Police use Tear Gas Arrests on Occupy Oakland Protesters
Oakland police used tear gas and “flash” grenades Saturday to break up hundreds of Occupy protesters after some demonstrators started throwing rocks and flares at officers and tearing down fencing.Three officers were hurt and 19 people were arrested. No details on the officers’ injuries were released.Oakland police chief Howard Jordan denied the use of flashbang grenades and said that the explosions came from M-80 firecrackers thrown by protesters.In Washington D.C. protesters rallied outside the Alfalfa Club dinner, where President Barack Obama was in attendance.
